Support Haku Baldwin Center and shop at Whole Foods Market Kahului on May 26 – 5% of sales will be donated to our therapeutic programs. Grab your groceries or just grab lunch!
Several times a year, Whole Foods Market in Kahului donates 5% of the day’s net sales to a selected local charity and on Thursday, May 26, 2016, Haku Baldwin Center will be the featured non-profit organization. Haku Baldwin Center will staff an information table outside the store from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and host free, animal-themed activities and prizes for school-aged children. Kid’s activities will include animal bingo and a keiki coloring club. There will also be door prizes for the general public. Bring the whole family and shop for a good cause!
“We are excited by the opportunity to provide support of such a worthy organization like the Haku Baldwin Center, which provides positive animal-assisted therapy and activities for individuals with special needs including military veterans,” said Annalee England, store team leader for Whole Foods Market Kahului. “Our team members overwhelmingly voted this year to partner with the Center and we are thrilled to strengthen this relationship with a donation of five percent of the store’s sales on May 26th.”
